1. Acceptance
This User Agreement is between you and the operator of Tebo. By downloading, opening, or using Tebo, you agree to this User Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This document is intentionally titled User Agreement. It governs your use of Tebo without changing any mandatory consumer, privacy, or platform rights that apply in your country, state, province, or territory.
2. The Tebo Experience
Tebo is a photo collection and colony-management app. You choose photos from your device, Tebo preserves a protected Original Master copy, and the App creates gameplay copies or fragments that worker ants can carry, classify, assemble, and exhibit in an underground colony interface.
3. Eligibility and Minors
You may use Tebo only if you can legally agree to this User Agreement. If you are under the age required by applicable law to agree on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and approve your use.
Tebo is not directed to children under 13. If applicable law in your location sets a higher age for digital consent, that higher age applies. Parents or guardians may contact us at tebocyl@163.com about a minor's use of the App.
4. Your Photos and Content
You are responsible for the photos and other content you choose to import, save, display, export, or share through Tebo. You should only use photos that you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally allowed to process.
You agree not to use Tebo to store, create, organize, export, or share content that is unlawful, exploitative, abusive, infringing, invasive of another person's privacy, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
5. Local Vault, Backups, and Deletion
Tebo is designed as a local-first App. In the current MVP, selected photos, Original Masters, thumbnails, fragments, and colony state are stored on your device unless you choose an operating-system feature, backup feature, export action, or future cloud option that moves data elsewhere.
Gameplay fragments may be cleared or regenerated from Original Masters. Deleting the App, deleting local App data, or clearing device storage may remove local Tebo files. You should keep independent backups of important photos outside Tebo.
Tebo is a creative collection experience, not a guaranteed archival, emergency, or professional backup system.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use Tebo in a way that violates law, platform rules, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or safety requirements.
- Attempt to bypass security, permissions, storage limits, or technical restrictions in the App or operating system.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, modify, resell, or redistribute Tebo except where applicable law expressly allows it.
- Use the App to harass, defame, exploit, or harm another person.
- Misrepresent your rights to photos, screenshots, exports, or other content.
7. Ownership and App Materials
Tebo, including its app design, visual style, colony mechanics, text, artwork, software, animations, names, logos, and other app materials, is owned by its operator or licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to this User Agreement, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to use Tebo for your own lawful personal use on supported devices.
8. Updates and Changes
We may update Tebo to add features, improve performance, adjust gameplay, fix bugs, strengthen privacy or security, or meet legal and platform requirements. Some updates may change how fragments, colony progress, settings, storage, or future backup features work.
We may update this User Agreement from time to time. When changes are material, we will use reasonable methods to notify users, such as in-app notice, app listing information, or an updated effective date.
9. Availability and Third Parties
Tebo depends on your device, operating system, photo library permissions, storage capacity, App Store distribution, and other third-party systems. Features may be unavailable, delayed, limited, or changed due to device limits, operating-system changes, regional rules, maintenance, or security needs.
If you use Apple, iCloud, device backup, email, sharing, or other third-party services with Tebo, those services are governed by their own legal and privacy documents.
10. Disclaimers and Responsibility
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, Tebo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or able to prevent every data loss, device issue, or unauthorized access event.
To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, photos, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in this User Agreement limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including non-waivable consumer guarantees and statutory remedies in places such as California, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and other applicable jurisdictions.
11. Regional Protections
If local law gives you stronger rights than this User Agreement, local law controls. This includes applicable consumer, privacy, data protection, accessibility, and digital marketplace laws in the United States, California, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and other regions where Tebo is available.
Privacy rights, data access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, complaint handling, and cross-border processing information are described in Tebo's Privacy Agreement.
